This is an additional procedure set up to supplement the Zero Tolerance card to help maintain a friendly atmosphere at the bridge table.

Welcome to The Villages Club - BACKUP

Welcome to The Villages Duplicate Bridge Club. Our club is located in The Villages (Florida's Friendliest Hometown) which is in central Florida. Our ACBL sanction number is #217489. We are in District 9, Unit 128.

This is an invitational club so guest passes must be obtained for a guest to play. All regular game fees are $3 per person for a resident and $5 per person for a guest. We are a non-smoking club and adhere to the ACBL Zero Tolerance Policy.

Educational Opportunities

BEGINNING BRIDGE AVAILABLE

Do you know someone who is interested in learning bridge? Our club is offering a new series of beginning bridge lessons and games, beginning January 12th. These workshops will be held on Thursday mornings from 9:00 to 12:00 at Rohan Regional Recreation Center, for $5.00 per session. There is already a waitlist for this series, so preregistration is strongly recommended. Folks can register by email at vdbceducation@gmail.com. An informational flyer describing the lessons is also available.

ROBERT TODD WORKSHOP

On Saturday, February 25, 2023, Robert Todd, a renowned teacher and author of bridge books, will present an all-day workshop, that include a working lunch, at Lake Miona Recreation Center, from 9:00

a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The morning topic will be “Doubles of Many Kinds”. The afternoon session will be “Is it Forcing?”. A box lunch from Chicken Salad Chick, as well as soft drinks, are included in your ticket purchase. Tickets can be purchased for $100.00 from any member of our Board of Directors, beginning in mid-January. Watch this space for details…
