u3a 40th Anniversary Charity Bridge Festival - 20th - 23rd September 2022

We’re pleased to report that we have had an excellent response from across all four nations with pairs playing as far north as Inverness, Kingsbury Estuary in the South, Upper Bann in the West and Stour Valley in the East.

We have had members playing online with BBO, BCL & RealBridge as well as organising local duplicate sessions of three or four tables and a couple of chicago bridge mornings.

Yet to mention 250+ pairs

The generousity of our xxx raised in excess of £ xxx to be distributed among the following worthwhile causes:

Help the Aged

Ashbourne (tba)

Cancer Research UK

What next ?

Why wait until next year for the next Simultaneous Pairs? - ECatsBridge who managed our Bridge Festival also run the Children in Need Simultaneous Pairs starting w/c 7th November 2022 - more information and to "sign up" at this link

We have had extremely positive response from those who played that we intend to repeat the tournament with another week-long Bridge Festival in Spring 2023
