We normally run two Beginners Bridge Courses every year. The next intake will be Autumn 2025. We are now taking entrants on a first come-first served basis. If you are interested in learning Bridge, please apply here. For general information about the course, please refer to our FAQs.
The online course is based on a well-proven methodology using Nofearbridge lessons and RealBridge playing sessions. The course starts with a set of free, short, self-taught MiniBridge Lessons on the NoFearBridge website to obtain two MiniBridge certificates, demonstrating you have learnt basic principles. This normally takes 1 to 2 weeks to complete. Those completing the MiniBridge course may join 23 weeks of online study with weekly readings and exercises to complete in your own time. We support your learning through a weekly group meeting and weekly supervised practice sessions (at a fixed time) on the RealBridge playing platform.

We would like to thank all u3a members who have participated in our Spring Charity Bridge Festivals and donated more than £8,750 to charity. We plan to hold a similar event in Spring 2026 when we hope to raise even more money for worthwhile causes.
