Today's winners, N/S, were Elizabeth & Lieve on 58.75%, with Maggie & Allan in second place, not far behind.   David & Terry were E/W winners ahead of LIzzie & Sarah, both pairs topping 60%.   Not too many uncontested auctions today, I thought, which made for an interesting session.  Next session: 22 October.

16 October 2026 - Oake SPG

Provisionally, the N/S winners are Richard & Karen, just ahead of Elizabeth & Peter, and E/W the winners are Fi & Eileen, not far ahead of two pairs tied in second place, Ken & Marion and Angela & Liz.  However, no result was entered on the traveller for Board 6, when it was played on the last round between Pairs 4 and 11 (Bridget/Allan, Wendy/Jill).   If someone could please let me know what happened, I will add that result in.  It could make a difference to the final placings, as so far Board 6 is completely flat.   The fixed Board was Board 7.   I hope you will find the commentary on it interesting but I wasn't watching it being played so have no means of knowing which declarers performed brilliantly!  But I see the Nine of Clubs was led at two tables, from K Q 10 9 7.   Tut, tut! Next session: 30 October.
