Well done to Carmen & Sheree, top N/S today with 65.28%, and to the E/W winners Sandra & Kari, on 65 %.   Carmen & Sheree were also the only pair to bid and make a slam.   I'm slightly bemused by the traveller for Board 14.  I've entered exactly what it said on the traveller but it seems improbable that North could make 9 tricks in a Diamond contract and that East could make ten tricks - also playing in Diamonds!  Next session: 22 January.

2 January 2026 - Oake SPG

Apologies for the slow service.  My wife dragged me off, kicking and screaming, to the seaside immediately after lunch.   When, of course, I really wanted to be scoring your session!    Very close at the top today, Angela and Anne just pipping Bridget and Allan, with two other pairs in close attendance.  Congratulations to the winners, also to Elizabeth and Maggie, the only pair to bid (and make) the slam on the fixed board, Board 1.   NEXT SESSION: 16 January
