19 June 2025 -Trull Bridge Group

Today's result:  a win for Belinda & Liz, with Val & George in second place.   From what I saw, there were some difficult hands today, both for bidding and for play    I see that I somehow forgot to congratulate Jean & Jackie for coming top last week (Val & George again in second place but tied with Maggie & Allan)  Next session: 10 July (Reminder: no sessions on 26 June or 3 July).

20 June 2025 - Oake SPG

Congratulations to today's winners - Angela & Anne N/S, Jeremy & Andy E/W.   Board 6 was today's fixed deal.   I see that no N/S pair bid and made 4H, although two played in 3H and made 10 tricks.  Well done to Jonathan & Richard for at least bidding the game - less easy, perhaps, than my commentary suggests.   I hope you like the solution to making ten tricks without any help from the opponents!  Next session:  18 July.  Reminder: there will be no session on 4 July.
