27 November 2025 -Trull Bridge Group

Joint winners today N/S, on 57.29% - Elizabeth & Lieve and Alex & Tony.  Carmen & Sheree were narrow winners E/W on 62.5%, with Anne & Ann just behind them.   N/S had most of the points today - between them, the 20 boards were played 80 times, and on only 20 occasions were East or West the declarer!   Next session: 11 December.   This will be the only session in December, resuming in the New Year on 8 January.

5 December 2025 - Oake SPG

Congratulations to Anne (Bird) & Ann, winners today N/S with 59.38%, just pipping Angela & Anne (Baker), while Liz & Belinda were comfortable winners E/W.   The fixed Board was Board 3, intended to be played by North in 3NT, making probably ten tricks if the correct line is found, otherwise only about seven tricks.  So much for my intentions!   No partnership bid game, and the hand was uniformly played by South, not North.  But ten tricks were at least made, on a couple of occasions.  Next session (by popular demand): 19 December.   There will also be a session on 2 January, as there seemed to be enough players to make it worthwhile.
