7 May 2026 -Trull Bridge Group

Our winners today were Jean & Jackie on 65.83%, with Allan & George second on 59.17%.   It looks as though the Boards were a bit dull today, many of them being played in part-scores all round.   Clearly, you need to improve your shuffling!    Next session: 14 May.  Please note that, contrary to a previous message, there WILL be sessions on 11 and 18 June after all, as Sheree Pavey has very kindly offered to run them.   However, you will need to come with a partner as I would not expect Sheree to act as spare partner and perhaps have to go without a game.  I will send an email reminder closer to the time.

1 May 2026 - Oake SPG

Well done to today's winners, Bridget & Alan N/S and Sue & Elizabeth E/W.  In both cases, the second-placed pair was not far behind.   Today's fixed Board was Board 6, intended to be played by West in 3NT, just making as long as the right line of play is adopted on a Heart lead.   Congratulations to Sue & Elizabeth, the only pair to play in 3NT (making with an overtrick, on a Club lead)   Next session: 29 May.   Please note that there will be no session on 15 May as I'm away.
