Tavistock Duplicate Bridge Club was founded in the early 1970's, and apart from the Covid years has played every week since then. We play in the Hall beneath the United Reformed Church in Russell Street, in the centre of Tavistock (PL19 8BD) every Wednesday evening.
Play starts at 6.45 and the norm is 25 to27 boards. Our mantra is that whilst competitive, Bridge must also be played for enjoyment in a relaxed atmosphere.
As a popular holiday destination we welcome visitors (table money £3.00 each). We also run a host system, so a partner is preferred, but not needed. Parking next to the hall is free of charge after 6 pm.

| Important Information |
We play every Wednesday evening except over Christmas, and the week that the Goose fair is held.
We play duplicate bridge - pairs. Play starts at 6:45pm - please arrive by 6:30pm so that the Director can decide on the movement which will depend on the number of pairs. Depending on the movement, we will play 24 - 27 boards, so that play will finish at appoximately 10.00pm.
Visitors and new members are always welcome, for a guest fee of £3 (you can use this facility three times after which, if you want to continue playing, you will need to join). The annual subsciption is currently £60 per annum. The club operates a host system, so anyone coming without a partner will have one found for them.
