The SCCBA is part of a national network of counties that make up the English Bridge Union.
The EBU offers four core services:
- Education – ensuring that there are bridge teachers available to enthuse and educate students of all ages.
- Training – for club and tournament directors to ensure that the games are run in a happy and pleasant environment
- Regulation – to provide a framework to play the game
- Tournaments - which provide challenges and competitions to players at all levels including students
The SCCBA offers a varied calendar of bridge events and competitions including the very popular annual league contests. Members of other counties can become dual members of SCCBA - see current Terms and Conditions. This will enable them to play in all SCCBA competitions during the year except for the Sussex Pairs and the Championship Teams for which players must have a primary affiliation of Sussex.
For details on how to become a member of SCCBA, please contact Membership Secretary Alexa Baxter - tel. 01903 216744 or 07990 630395.
