 Sussex/Kent Green-Pointed Swiss Pairs - Saturday October 24th, 2026 |
This event will take place in the comfortable surrounding of Tunbridge Wells BC on Saturday October 24th, starting at 11am - see summary of the weekend.
This event is suitable for players of all standards since, after round 1, you will play against a pair with the same score as yourself. Seven 7-board matches will be played with a break after 3 matches of approximately 45 minutes. Play should be completed by 6pm.
If you are looking for a partner, please add your details to the Find a Partner List on the Kent web-site. Please note that if we do not have a standby pair, the last pair that enters will be unable to play if there is an odd number of pairs. The Competitions Secretary will liaise with the last entered pair nearer the weekend.
The last date for entries is October 21st. Playing fees for this event are £25 per person. The Reference Code for the payment should be 'GPP' followed by your name. If also intending to submit an entry for the Green Point Swiss Teams on the following day (Sunday October 25th), one payment may be made to cover both events in which case, please make this clear in the 'Comments' fields of both entry forms.
Free tea/coffee/biscuit will be available on arrival. Food for the break (see form below for menu - choices to be made at the venue) may be pre-ordered at £16 per person but must be ordered by the evening of Wednesday October 21st!!!

As usual, 20% of entry fees will be allocated for prizes which include one for the Leading Non-Expert pair (both players NGS 9 or below).
On Saturday, free parking is available in the TWBC car park and paid parking is available along the London Road or on the Common (directions will be sent with joining instructions).

N.B. If you have a partner and, together, you're looking for team mates, please supply your details to the Kent web-site.
