We had a very enjoyable Christmas/25th Anniversary Bridge Party on 18^th December, thanks largely to Holly, Steph and Steven who organised the catering.  Many thanks to all those who helped in other ways.

Many congratulations to the winners of the 25^th Anniversary Cup: Moira & Cliff Pavelin (pictured) and to the winners of the 25th Anniversary Handicap Cup: Tony & Loris Lewis.

During the evening we raised £265 in donations to Homeless Oxfordshire (formerly Oxford Homeless Pathways).

Sadly one of SBC's long-standing members, John Spencer, died over the August Bank Holiday weekend after a protracted illness. Our thoughts are with his wife, Angela, and family.  He was a true gentleman and will be greatly missed.
