Oxford Bridge Club runs a comprehensive bridge education programme under the banner of Oxford Bridge School. Courses are available at all levels, from beginners to more experienced players. Further details are on their website.
This is a teams-of-eight competition for Oxfordshire clubs. We have two teams: our "A" team is in Division 2 and our "B" team in Division 4. Speak to Howard Arnes (A-Team) or Roger Heath-Brown (B-team) if you would like to play for Summertown. We had a very enjoyable Christmas/25th Anniversary Bridge Party on 18th December, thanks largely to Holly, Steph and Steven who organised the catering. Many thanks to all those who helped in other ways.

During the evening we raised £265 in donations to Homeless Oxfordshire (formerly Oxford Homeless Pathways).
Sadly one of SBC's long-standing members, John Spencer, died over the August Bank Holiday weekend after a protracted illness. Our thoughts are with his wife, Angela, and family. He was a true gentleman and will be greatly missed.
