State Mixed Pairs – Qualifying Event

Thank you to everyone who took part in our State Mixed Pairs Qualifying Event.

Congratulations to Ken & Vicky on winning the competition with an excellent score of 182.99%.

A special mention to our 2025 defending champions, Jen & Wieslaw, who finished in second place with 174.56% — a very valiant effort in attempting to defend their title 😄

Strathfield Bridge Club meets at:

8 William Street, Five Dock

Sessions: Monday and Thursday - 10:15am 

There is no break for lunch but coffee can be ordered from the downstairs bar before the start of the sessions.

Please be seated ready to play 10 minutes prior to the start of the sessions.

Visitors are most welcome.

Upcoming 2026 Competitions  

G NOT (gold point event) Monday 16, 23,  and 30 March      
G NOT (gold point event) Thursday  23 30 April and 7 May 

🏆 Winner: Determined by the highest total (aggregate) score across all three sessions and will be scored in imps.

📝 Note: All three weeks count — this is not a “best of three” event. 

Come along, enjoy the games, and may the best pair win! 💫

GNOT Competition is the only you can earn Gold Points and a chance to compete at the National level.

Monday competition the Club will sponsor two teams (each team comprising 2 pairs) to progress to the next stage.

Thursday GNOT  competition the Club will sponsor one teams (each team comprising 2 pairs) to progress to the next stage.

ABF charges the Club $5 per player per session. The club has decided to heavily subsidise the event by only charging players an extra $2.

Members $17 - Member - Pensioner $14 and Visitors $18.

(Note To be eligible to win the above events you have to be a financial member, a team of pairs that includes a non-member will be awarded master points in the usual manner but will not be entitled to win the event or won’t qualify to represent the club in the next stage of the competition). 

So please consider joining the club to qualify as winners of the events. Home members ($50) and non-home members ($30) are entitled to a free game in their birthday month, subsidised Christmas lunch and other benefits.
