Announcing and Alerting

The EBU have just amended the rules for announcing and alerting.  An explanation of the changes can be found on Pages 34 and 35 of the latest EBU magazine and you can see them in tablular form if you click on the EBU Information menu item on the left hand side of this page.

In addition, Mike Beach has produced an explanatory document to explain the rules as it affects our club which you can download by clicking here.

A couple of tips.

  • If you want to know what has changed without having to trawl through all of it, the pages with any recent updates are listed in a box on the left of the Home Page.
  • This site is mobile friendly, so if you can't wait to get home and check out the results on a computer, you can see the whole site on your phone or tablet browser. It should display properly, but if it doesn't, click 'Switch to Mobile' on the left hand side of the Home Page.  Incidentally there are (paid) IOS and Android apps available for Bridgewebs. They are handy if you just want to review the results and hands.
