These events are a series of 4 vrs 4 Teams games against like-minded bridge clubs using BBO.  In the true Olympic ideal it's not the winning but the taking part that it is important and our aim is to be seen as the friendliest rather than the best bridge club out there.  Matches generally start at 19:00 on a Tuesday with a pre-arranged and notified draw.  Both Clubs aim to get players of a similar standard competing in individual matches to ensure that the full range of players are catered for.  Games consist of 16 boards (2x8 with a switch) with the scores converted to VPs.  The VPs are totalled across all matched to determine the winner although we don't worry about that too much.

Matches vary in size.  To date from 16 a-side to 76 a-side.  Selection is via invitation and I will make efforts to ensure everyone gets the chance to play on a rotating basis.
