St. Albans Duplicate Bridge (The Club) holds personal data on Members which generally consists of their name, email address, phone number and address.  This information is held in both electronic and paper format by members of the committee in order to manage the membership purely for the purposes of Bridge.  The data will generally be shared with Hertfordshire Bridge Association (HBA) and the English Bridge Union (EBU) for the same sole purpose.  All members are required to either give permission for their data to be stored and used in this manner or, alternatively, they have the right to refuse.  Members who do no provide permission will simply have their names and subscription renewal date stored.  They will not therefore be able to be contacted by The Club, HBA or EBU.
