| Evening 23rd February |
Quite a few game contracts in the offing this week. Those bidding 3NT on Board 4 (as N/S) and on Board 3 (as E/W) were rewarded with the few extra points to pip those who stayed in a suit. Slams were bid and made by several N/S pairs on Board 5 and E/W pairs on Board 23. Congratulations to Margaret and Richard for topping the table this week.

| Evening 16th February |
We were pleased to welcome newcomer Gordon Cutter this week. After a run of slammers topping the leaderboard I thought I would stress the theme of "Fortune favours the brave". Unfortunately after mentioning this to Peter and Elaine they proceeded to prove me wrong by crashing out this week! However it is true that the top three pairs this week bid and made 5 slams between them...Well done to Kath & Rosemary and Colin & Doug for both bagging a brace! Overall honours to Dick and Mary.

| Evening 9th February |
Credit to Elaine and Peter for not only making 6NT on Board 23 but also stopping Doug and Colin's almost certain 6 Spades (doubled, redoubled!) on Board 8. Matthew and Steve emerged overall winners after making the only other slam of the night - 6 Clubs at Board 8.
