BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS FOR JOYCE!! 91 years young! Plenty of cakes and bubbly provided by the Birthday Girl helped numb the pain of multiple missed contracts! None more galling than Matthew and Stephen failing in 1 Spade (Board 10) when on another table Elaine and Peter romped to 3NT with two overtricks! None of the 5 slam bids were made, although it would seem there was potential for a slam bid on Board 21.
We are pleased to welcome back a fit and healthy-looking Rex following major therapy.
