Starting On Friday, Febraury 6th 2026, at 12.30 - 15.15hrs.

At the genesis Centre, Centre Way, Locks Heath Centre, Park Gate, Southampton, SO31 6DX.

There is 4 hours free parking available at the Locks Heath Centre.

We will begin a course on how to play  bridge.

The course is aimed at beginners and learners.

It will be term time only and will comprise twelve sessions ( not meeting during school half term) .

The cost is, a 'one off' £12 to secure your place on the course and £3 payable each week 'table money'. Tea or coffee will be included.

The course should take you from near zero knowledge to a point at which you could join with a friendly bridge club.

No previous knowledge of bridge is required but any card game experience would be helpful.

We also have a friendly bridge club which plays on Wednesday afternoons. This would be perfect for you to start your way in the duplicate bridge world.

Many of the instructors and volunteer helpers from the course also play at the club so you would certainly have people to welcome and look after you.
