32 members enjoyed the afternoon playing 8 x 4 board matches with a break for a drink and Peter's renowned Date and Walnut cake. After 7 matches there were 6 pairs within 8 points of each other, resulting in first place Trevor Oxtoby and Paul Likely by two points ahead of Charlie Colson and Derek Williams, followed by Peter Ball and Colin Liddle one point behind Charlie and Derek - a very close match. Thanks to TD Paul, and Elaine and Peter for organising the catering.

Congratulations to all the 27 students who successfully completed this years Beginners Course.

We welcome new members, prospective members and visitors to the area.

Afternoon sessions start at 1.15 pm, evening sessions at 7.00 pm and the Thursday morning session at 10.00 am. The sessions will start promptly at those times.

We have one of the most comprehensive Bridge Training programmes in the UK.  We run Beginners' Classes where absolutely NO previous experience of playing the game is required and you don't need a partner.  We also regularly hold Improvers' classes for the more experienced players.
