Graduation Evening |
The Graduation evening for the first Beginner Course was held on Wednesday 19th March, and a very pleasant time was had by all. We had 6 tables consisting of those completing the course and those who have provided mentoring assistance. Thanks to all who have taken part and congratulations to those who are now full members of the club. Hearty congratulations to Esme Mottram and Jenny Braby who were winners on the night. Grateful thanks to John B, Graham L and Andrew B. for all their hard work.

An Evening with Ben Norton |
Click the heading for details of this really exciting evening. Reservations are on a first come basis, and initially only open to members. If there are spaces left at the beginning of May, these will be offered externally. The cost of the evening is £5.00 per person, which will be included in the normal May statement. You may cancel up to the 1st May, but cancellations after that date will still be charged. If you would like to reserve a place, please submit the form below. Social Duplicate |
Social Duplicate is played on a Thursday (1245 for 1300 start, finish around 1545). We generally have 4-5 tables and play 18 hands. The aim is to help people progress in their Bridge without pressure as well as enjoying social engagement. The session is hosted, which means you can come without a partner and be guaranteed to play.

Gentle Duplicate |
Gentle Duplicate is played on Mondays (1315 for 1330 start, finish around 1600). We generally have 4-6 tables and play 21 hands. This session is not EBU accredited and is aimed at those who enjoy duplicate without the pressure of fully competitive play. The session is hosted, which means you can come without a partner and be guaranteed to play.

Competitive Duplicate |
Competitive Duplicate is played on Tuesday evenings (1845 for 1900 start, finish around 2200) and Friday afternoons (1315 for 1330 start, finish around 1615). We generally have 5 or 6 tables at each session and play 21-24 boards. The sessions are EBU accredited and masterpoints are awarded.
