If you would like to learn how to play bridge, probably the best place to start for general advice and information is the English Bridge Education and Development website. Click on Learn to Play there for more information. To find the EBED website, see Useful Links on this website where you'll also find links to a few other local clubs, but the list is not exhaustive.

The English Bridge Union (EBU) have recently (2018) set up a directory of affiliated clubs and teachers, which can be searched by postcode or filtered by county. It can be found by clicking here.

Hitchin Bridge Club run a Beginners Course every year, and have a number of weekly sessions for players of all standards.

Fast Track Bridge for Beginners

Learn the basics of bridge in a short time span, so you can start playing with confidence.

English Bridge Education and Development (EBED) have recently launched a new initiative to teach bridge in a single weekend, and courses will be held at clubs throughout England. Look out for one at a local club such as Welwyn Bridge Club in the near future, or check the EBED website for more details.
