"Regis Bridge Club" is the principal duplicate bridge club in Dunstable, So named from when it first opened in "Houghton Regis", a small town on the outskirts of Dunstable, Bedfordshire. The Club has invested in the ArcScorer wireless scoring system and can provide a result on the night immediately after completion of the last board played.

Although not currently affiliated to the EBU, duplicate evenings follow the rules laid down by the governing body. You can be assured of a competitive but friendly evening playing duplicate bridge.

The President of Dunstable Town Cricket Club passed away recently and his funeral takes place on the afternoon of the above date. We have been advised by the Cricket Club that our regular venue will not be available for our use that evening and so face to face Bridge will not take place then. To mitigate this loss of the evening, I will be running an online session for all who might be overwrought by the loss of this evening's entertainment. I must point out that, as an unaffiliated club, we will not be sending the results to the EBU for the award of masterpoints or NGS changes, but all BOA members are welcome to enjoy three hours of competitive Bridge in a friendly environment

Over the last number of years, the Regis Bridge Club have hosted a Bridge weekend in Bournemouth usually in April. Our next event will take place at the Marsham Court Hotel on the above dates. Our weekend consists of 5 sessions of duplicate Bridge over the weekend.

The basic cost for 5 sessions of duplicate Bridge, 3 nights Bed, Breakfast and evening meal in an inland room is £295 per person. The hotel has been extensively refurbished over the past three years and has always provided us with a good and consistent level of service.
