| Peter Pratt |
It is with great sadness that I have to let you know that the founder of this Bridge Club, Peter Pratt, died 17th February suddenly at home. Peter was a wonderful advocate of the game and he built this club up from 8 people sitting in his front room to one of the most successful Bridge Clubs in the County. In later years his other passion for Bowls led him to start up his Wednesday morning relaxed sessions at the Dunstable Town Bowls Club, providing the opportunity for many people to enjoy three hours of sociable Bridge and comfortable companionship. He will be sorely missed by all and our thoughts are with Brenda at this sad time.
I have been advised by the family that the funeral will take place on Thursday 19th March at 11:00 at Oakfield Gardens Crematorium, Fordfield Road, Steppingley, Bedfordshire, MK45 1AD. There will be a celebration of Peter's life afterwards at the White Hart, 1 Brook Ln, Flitton, Bedford, MK45 5EJ. It will help the family if you can contact Peter's son John to let him know if you wish to attend to pay your respects. His contact details are forkingdickchair@gmail.com Tel: 07399115737
