Cheers to the team of Anne Rutter, Sue Lindner, Carol Briscoe & Barb Griffiths who achieved second place in the Bridge NSW Country Teams Zonal Final. They will now represent our club in the final to be held later this year. Well done ladies!

All members - please be advised that all sessions of play will commence at 12:30 during winter. Players are asked to arrive NO LATER than 12:15 to allow director's to set-up. This time may revert to 1:00 during summer.

| Masterpoint restrictions |
Among ideas arising from the latest committee meeting has been the decision to remove all masterpoint restrictions as a trial. This means that anyone, regardless of points, is able to participate in any session. One of the benefits of this arrangement is that, when we have visitors wanting to play, they are not restricted if their points are above a specified requirement. All feedback will be appreciated.

| Supervised play sessions |
Now that our most recent series of lessons have concluded, we are introducing supervised play for those students on Friday mornings from 10:00 - 12:00. Any members who would like to participate in these sessions are welcome to come along. We will be calling for volunteers to help.

| Things to bear in mind |
Just a few things to keep in mind at the bridge table.
It would be appreciated if you remove lolly wrappers, tissues etc from side tables. If you eat at the tables - clean up after yourself. Everyone deserves to come to a clean and tidy venue. We engage a cleaner one day per week and need your help to maintain a standard of cleanliness.
Give the Director your attention and DON'T remove cards from the holder until you are given the go ahead.
Please leave bidding cards on the table until the first lead is made.
Don't argue with your opposition - call the Director - they need to keep in practice.
If the Director is called and makes a ruling with which you disagree, don't argue. Please remember they are volunteers and human so can make a mistake - and you have the right to appeal. This must be done via the Director who will refer it to the Appeals Committee.
