| Important announcements!!! |
 |
Members, please be aware that we will be adjusting our starting time to 12:30 from Friday May 1st. Both partners are required to be seated no later than 12:15.
Also check your calendars regularly to see which days you are booked to play as we have had several members not turn up recently which is a great inconvenience to our directors.

| Club Qualifying Events (CQE) |

Bridge NSW have introduced a new series of State Teams and Pairs events - referred to as CQE's (Club Qualifying Events). These attract DOUBLE RED points for those who qualify. There will be three divisions - Open, Under Grand Master and Under National Master and only people meeting those requirements (see appropriate day) will be able to play on those days. We continue to welcome all players on other days as usual.
As your club will be charged $2.50pp per session for participation, we have followed their suggestion to raise table money on those days. Committee has agreed on $7 and would ask you to bring the correct money with you.

| March 2026 Congress |
 |
Another very successful congress has been conducted and it's a big shout out to all those who took part! There was some serious competition and very good results achieved by of our members. It appeared that there was a lot of merriment and many comments and thanks were received for the effort it took. The catering team all did a wonderful job in keeping the masses fed - a wonderful selection of food was on offer. Thank you to ALL who contributed either by cooking, serving, cleaning up etc. It really was a team effort. Many thanks to our convener, Tom, for all his hard work in liaising with all the entrants as well as the director. See slide show below for photos of the winners and placegetters. | MyABF |
All members are encouraged to sign-up to MyABF which is the updated means of booking to attend congresses. This format can also be used in the future for other purposes including mail and it is preferable for all members to be registered. Please use the link https://www.myabf.com.au/
Don't worry - we aren't changing anything immediately, but please help us by completing your enrolment. We hope that we will soon be able to offer members the option of paying table fees using Myabf credits. If you are having trouble signing up to Myabf, please bring in your phone or tablet and ask someone who has signed up to help. The initial sign up has to be done on their website, not the App. Just bring along your ABF number too.
