Penang Club Open Pairs 2021 |
The Penang Club Open Pairs event for 2020 had to be cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictons. However, following the success of moving club games onto BBO and providing support to players in KL and Kuching, the Penang Club Open Pairs event was played online. There were 24 pairs entered with players spread throughout California, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore in addition to Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia. The event was won by Cameron & Mary Cotton. Congratulations to them both.

Penang Club vs USRC |
Players from Hong Kong URSC returned to Penang for a friendly competition on Tursday 1st October. The morning was cloely contested with top teams from Penang and USRC scoring almost equally. In the afternoon session, after a sumptuous buffet lunch the home team raced ahead to win the match. They will be the first winners of the Frances Yeo Cup.

Royal Lake Club Congress 2019 |

Eight members of the Penang Club Bridge Section travelled to Kuching for the Kuching Bridge Club's annual congress. A fun time was had by all.

USRC v Penang Club |
In the friendly interclub match played in Hong Kong on Friday 11th January honour was restored when a Penang Team won the match. With the score at one match all, USRC will return to Penang in June determined to restore their winning position.

In a tightly contested friendly match a team from USRC just pipped a team from Penang Club to win by 134VPS to 127. Everyone enjoyed the day and we all look forward to a return match at USRC in the future.
