PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE BYLAWS 

The Board of Directors is proposing several changes to the bylaws of the club:

• In the interests of total impartiality, we are proposing the separation of the Nominating and Election Committees. This would necessitate some procedural changes which are included in the proposed changes
• It is also being proposed to hold our Annual Meeting as early in January as possible, allowing the sitting board to timely report on the just ended previous year. It would also provide an opportunity for those candidates running for election to address the membership at the Annual Meeting prior to the election.This would require a change to the installation of new officers from the Annual Meeting to the first board meeting following the election.

These changes require changes to the bylaws.The proposed changes are posted below.  A vote to adopt the changes will be taken during the Labor Day Luncheon on September 7^th
