Notice of AGM

This notice is to formally invite you to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Nottinghamshire Contact Bridge Association.The AGM will be held on Sunday 7th June 2026 in Woodborough Village Hall.

Nomination and Motion Procedures:

• Members who wish to nominate themselves or another member for a position should submit a completed nomination by Friday 22nd May 2026

• Members who wish to propose a motion for consideration at the AGM should submit the motion by email to the Secretary by Friday 22nd May 2026. The motion should be clearly worded

 • The nominations and motions must be seconded by two persons and the seconders as well as the proposer should send them to me and Clare Batten, please.

Attendance: We encourage all members to attend the AGM. This is your opportunity to learn about the County’s activities over the past year, participate in discussions about the future of the County Association, and vote on important matters.

Apologies: If you are unable to attend the AGM, please submit your apologies to the Secretary.

AGM Papers: The AGM papers, including the minutes from the previous AGM and the accounts are on NCBA website.

We look forward to seeing you at the AGM, followed by a pairs game, with tea, coffee and biscuits available throughout.
