The untimely death has taken place on 3rd January 2026 of Pat McLoone late of 14 McMahon Villas, Letterkenny, former Tournament Director for this Region. Pat was a gentleman who had a huge knowledge and dedication to the game of bridge and will be sorely missed by all of us.
We extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends at this sad time - may he Rest in Peace.

Welcome to the website of the
Northern Region Donegal
of the Contract Bridge Association of Ireland.
The CBAI is the national body that administers the game of contract bridge across the 26 counties of Ireland.
This national association is made up of various regional branches including the Northern Region Donegal which administers the game in County Donegal.
For results of the major competitions in Ireland check out http://www.fob.ie
Each region is run by a committee comprised of representatives of the affiliated clubs. The region's officers are elected at the AGM which is traditionally held in May of each year and after all of the regional clubs have held their AGM - The position of President rotates equally between the various affiliated clubs within the Region.
