Sadly we have learned of the death of Teresa McLaughlin (Grainne) on 28th August 2026, another long time member and supporter of Moville Bridge Club over the years.  Teresa was always a very pleasant person at the bridge table and a real lady no matter where or when one encountered her. 

We extend our sincere condolences to her family on their great loss just three months after losing their father Michael in May 2026

May she rest in Eternal Peace.

On Friday 15 May, John McClenaghan Hon Club President for the Golden Anniversary year of the Club, hosted his Presidents Night in Greencastle Golf Club where most of club members were in attendance.  After having a lovely meal, we then did our very best to be successful in the game and to covet one of Johns beautiful prizes.

On Friday 1st May the Moville Bridge Club celebrated 50 years of Bridge, founded in 1976 by

Mrs Margaret Casey, and the late Mary Bonner, Jane McCauley and Tony Meehan.

  We were honoured to have Mrs Margaret Casey one of the Founder Members of the Club in attendance on the night and presenting the specially designed trophy to the winners of the Golden Jubilee Game, which was played for on Friday 24th April 2026.
