Try bidding this hand after West opens 1♠ - be honest, and see where you would get. 

The hand is a misfit, but you are close to 3NT. 

A sensible bidding system should enable you to identify the misfit, try for 3NT but then reject it due to insufficient high card points.

The seminar will take place in Meeting Room 2A on the second floor* of the Barnstaple Library, Barnstaple, EX31 1EL on Tuesday 29th April 2025, starting at 11am and will finish by 3pm.
The cost is just £10 per person to include a sandwich lunch and hot drinks.

You do not need to be a member of an EBU club to attend, and you do not need a partner.

​Please arrive from 10.30am for a hot drink, we will start promptly at 11am and aim to finish before 3pm. 

Paid parking is available outside the Library.

There will be some written notes for you to take away.
