| Where are we? |
We are now playing at the Garden Plaza Retirement Community. It can be found at 545 N Garden Plaza Court. From I-90, take Exit 7 to the ID-41 offramp. Go to Mullan Road and turn left (west). Shortly after you pass Walmart, look for the driveway on the left. Click here for a link to see a map. Please park in the main parking lot in front of the building, and check in at the front desk.

| Interesting Hand - December 2nd |
Show Detail |
There were several slams that were very tough to make today. I liked seeing people taking a chance bidding the slams. If North opens 1♦ on board 12, it’s a very reasonable slam to bid once South realizes there is no ♠ fit. The safest lead for East is the A♥ , then another ♥ roughed by Dummy. Now declarer can rough 2 rounds of ♠ (trumping high) crossing back to Dummy using low trump. Pulling the final round of trump, Dummy can then play A♠ dropping the K♠ . The rest of the ♣ get pitched on the good ♠ , and declarer makes 6. Nice job Joe and Gayle on bidding and making 6♦ .
