Welcome to the website of Coeur d'Alene's newest and
friendliest duplicate bridge game. We plan to have a game every
Tuesday afternoon at 12:00.
All games are now upgraded ACBL Special Events
with double or more points.

| Where are we? |
We are now playing at the Garden Plaza Retirement Community. It can be found at 545 N Garden Plaza Court. From I-90, take Exit 7 to the ID-41 offramp. Go to Mullan Road and turn left (west). Shortly after you pass Walmart, look for the driveway on the left. Click here for a link to see a map. Please park in the main parking lot in front of the building, and check in at the front desk.

21 games (4 slams) available out of 27 boards. They slams were tough to find and play. Most pairs got to slam on board 10. However with just a combined 23 HCP many pairs did not even get to game on board 12 even though it can make 6♣ or 6♠ . At most tables the auction likely went
P-P-1♣ -1♦ -1♠ -2♦ -3♣ -P -3♥ -P-3♠-P…...
With just 5 losers West must now decide how to proceed with a known 7 card fit. Slam is likely there with the singleton ♦ , but the safe bet is to go to 4♠ . Don’t be scared of a 7 card fit at the 4 level as long as you know the strength and distribution justify the bid. Nice job to the 3 pairs that pushed on to game.
