| Mursley Friendly Bridge Club |
We are a friendly bridge club located in Mursley.
We meet on a Tuesday afternoon in the Village Hall with people asked to be sitting by 115pm for a 130pm start*.
The session lasts up to 3 hours with a break about 3pm for tea and biscuits.
We welcome visitors, however please check with Phil (details below) that we are able to accommodate you as we are near capacity at the moment.
* During the winter months we start 15 minutes earlier, so 1pm for 115pm start

If you would like to give us a try then please phone our chairman Phil Matton on 07768 214998.
At the moment we do not have a hosting system whereby you just come on your own and play.
However we may be able to find you a partner to play with you.
As at 30th July 2025 we are nearing the maximum capacity of 13 tables, with 9-11 tables of bridge being played.
It is likely that, should you want to become a member, that you will have to go on a waiting list for now.
First step is to contact Phil and we can go from there.

| Chris North Trophy 2026 |
Chris North Trophy named in recognition of his contributions to and long standing support of Mursley Friendly Bridge Club
For 2026, as we have a lot more members, the committee has decided to run the Chris North trophy as an individual competition based on master points.
The competition will again be run on the second Tuesday of the month. We will continue to draw table numbers.
Best 6 competitions count (there is a new competition where all master points earnt in the year count).
In the event of a draw, count-back used over last 3 events played, last 6, then last 1. If it is still a tie (as is likely if a couple who only play together are tied at the top), we will look at which one contributed most to the results in the counting events where master points are earnt.

| John Fellingham Challenge Cup |
For 2026 we are reintroducing the John Fellingham Challenge Cup.
The winners of this cup will be one who scores the most master points between January and November inclusive.
In the event of a draw, count-back used over the last 3 events played, last 6, then last 1. If it is still a tie (as is likely if a couple who only play together are tied at the top), we will look at which one contributed most to the results in the last 4 sessions they played in.
