2nd December 2025 will be the date of our Christmas party.

| Away weekend 2025 |
The Mursley away weekend is 17th October - 19th October. It is being held at Delta Marriott Cheltenham Chase Hotel.
If you want to come on this away weekend please let Diane know and she will put you on a reserve list as all the places are taken at the moment.

| AGM outcome |
The AGM took place on 15th April.
It was agreed, following a vote, that membership should be limited to 56, to avoid the scenario of more than 13 tables being in play.
It was also agreed that if a member needs a partner, a request must be made to a fellow member on the WhatsApp group or verbally. Should there be no response by the Sunday at 5pm prior to our Tuesday meeting, a friend can be asked to be a partner as a visitor. This helps give members priority to play over visitors.

The committee are pleased to confirm the start of an annual handicap pairs competition, details linked below. We're further delighted this competition will be named after Chris North in recognition of his contributions to and long standing support of Mursley Friendly Bridge Club.

| Mursley Friendly Bridge Club |
We are a friendly bridge club located in Mursley.
We meet on a Tuesday afternoon in the Village Hall with people asked to be sitting by 115pm for a 130pm start*.
The session lasts up to 3 hours with a break about 3pm for tea and biscuits.
We welcome visitors, however please check with Phil (details below) that we are able to accommodate you as we are near capacity at the moment.
* During the winter months we start 15 minutes earlier, so 1pm for 115pm start

If you would like to give us a try then please phone our chairman Phil Matton on 07768 214998.
At the moment we do not have a hosting system whereby you just come on your own and play.
However we may be able to find you a partner to play with you.
As at 30th July 2025 we are nearing the maximum capacity of 13 tables, with 9-11 tables of bridge being played.
It is likely that, should you want to become a member, that you will have to go on a waiting list for now.
First step is to contact Phil and we can go from there.
