WE ARE TAKING A BREAK OVER THE SUMMER.

BRIDGE WILL RE-COMMENCE ON FRIDAY 4th SEPTEMBER - WISHING EVERYONE A VERY PLEASANT HOLIDAY SEASON

 Sligo Congress ran from Friday 5th June through to Sunday 7th June 2026 and we congratulation the following members who featured favourably over the weekend - 

Anna Carr and Margaret Farren took first place in the Congress Teams competition with their teammates Pat McDaid and Zrinka Kokot

also Ita O'Sullivan, Shaun Coll, Shaun McNutt and Jim O'Sullivan who took 4th place in that competition. 

Other local winners were Mary BH Doherty and Atholl Stewart who featured in the Open Pairs and Gala Pairs competitions respectively.

Congratulations and well done to all.

The Fr McGonagle Cup was played for on Wednesday 24th June 2026 at the Drummond Hotel, Ballykelly and members of the club featured in the competition.  Congratulations to Ita O'Sullivan and Mary Duffy who took 2nd Place in the event and to our Honorary Club President Jim O'Sullivan and his partner Shaun Coll who came 3rd in the competition, pictured below receiving their prizes from Limavady Club President Sinead McNicholl

On Friday 15 May, John McClenaghan Hon Club President for the Golden Anniversary year of the Club, hosted his Presidents Night in Greencastle Golf Club where most of club members were in attendance.  After having a lovely meal, we then did our very best to be successful in the game and to covet one of Johns beautiful prizes.

On Friday 1st May the Moville Bridge Club celebrated 50 years of Bridge, founded in 1976 by

Mrs Margaret Casey, and the late Mary Bonner, Jane McCauley and Tony Meehan.

  We were honoured to have Mrs Margaret Casey one of the Founder Members of the Club in attendance on the night and presenting the specially designed trophy to the winners of the Golden Jubilee Game, which was played for on Friday 24th April 2026.
