Youth Bridge

Cath Fox has asked all ECBA clubs to display an advertisement for a new website and initiative for Youth Bridge. Click here for what it has to say, and follow the onward links, including those detailing local activities. While not of direct relevance to members, this is an important initiative, and members may have children or - more likely - grandchildren, who might enjoy the game. Or friends with the same. If the game is to survive, it needs new blood.

Old Mountnessing Website (2006 - 2015)

The vast bulk of the old original website is available as an Archive record.  It includes a host of things, including the results back as far as Spring 2006, old statistical summaries and news items, various guidance documents, plus some sample convention cards that were intended for use primarily by 'scratch' partnerships.  Click on this panel to be redirected to the old website (opens in a new window).

'Play it again'

Have you yet tried the 'Play it Again' feature available on this website via the Results Pages?  Click on your name in the Rankings List to view your Scorecard. Then in the board list on the right of the screen, select the board of interest and click on 'Play it Again'.  From the comfort of your own home, you can see how you could / should have made that slam!

Accessing the (password protected) Membership Area

If you have not already done so, please click on the 'Membership Area' menu item immediately below, then follow the instructions.  If you've not used the Membership Area before, enter your email address as your 'name' and then press 'Forgotten Password'.  You will subsequently receive an email with a password enabling you to log into the Membership Area.  NB. You MUST use the email address by which the club recognizes you, that is, the one to which the Club Secretary sends you club-related messages. 

Once you have registered on the system in this way, you will be able to log into the Membership Area, where several services are open to you:

  • You can view the current club membership list, and use this to communicate with other members. 
  • You can also register that you are seeking a partner.  Note that in the Calendar listing upcoming events, if you spot the message Partner? then it means that at least one potential partner is available.  Click on the Partner? message to reveal details.
  • You can also access documents that are restricted to club members.
