Welcome to the Mountnessing Bridge Club Website |
The Club is open for F2F play, and we are glad to see members returning. Attendance has occasionally been patchy but has improved considerably over the last few weeks. Thanks to all who have responded to the call to support the Club!
In accordance with government guidelines, we have relaxed the Club Covid rules. See below.

Covid |
There are no longer any legal Covid restrictions. So, while the Club Committee will continue to monitor how this should affect the Club's policy, it has been decided that we should now relax our 'terms of play'. So:-
- If you are diagnosed with, or show symptoms of, Covid or Flu, we would still expect you to stay away until you are recovered.
- Asymptomatic attendees may of course wear masks if they wish, but need not do so, nor take a Covid test unless circumstances suggest they should.
- All should use hand sanitizer on entry to the Club.
- Unvaccinated individuals may attend at their own risk.
We hope these measures will continue to provide a safe environment for all our members.

Windmill Trophy - 8th December 2022 |
Congratulations to Audrey Hartley and David Embleton for heading the leaderboard of this annual single-session event. However, as the Club rules say that both players in the partnership have to be members - and David is an occasional but regular guest - the Trophy itself goes to the runners-up. So, congratulations also to Liz Williams and Nick Hagan.

Mary Rogers Trophy |
Well done to Les Curtis and David Piper who won the Mary Rogers Trophy for 2022 by a comfortable margin. That's in addition to their victory in the Windmill Trophy and joining The Seventy Club earlier in the year. Something must be done about this!
