Moseley Monthly Cup - Winners

Congratulations to Marjorie and Anju  winners of the Moseley Monthly Cup for May 2023 - Brilliant - well done to you both.

A great result for  Marjorie & Anju and good luck to all of our Monday evening  players for next months competition - we will announce our winners for June on the website.

The last Monday of every month will see the trophy up for grabs; to be eligible to win it members need to have played at least twice during that month but not necessarily with the same partner.

Good luck to all !!!  Come and join us!  We look forward to seeing you.

♠ Session Timings on a Monday Evening ♠ 

Our session will finish promptly at 10pm on a Monday Evening.

We do hope that this will encourage as many of you to attend as possible.

Looking forward to seeing you - we start playing at 7pm so please arrive in time to do so.

Guides to create a pleasant atmosphere at our club.

Being a good 'host' or 'guest' at the table.

Greeting others in a friendly manner. Praising the bidding and/or play of the opponents. 

Having two clearly completed convention cards readily available to the opponents (This one is a regulation, not just a nicety). 

The following list are some examples of behaviour which will not be tolerated:

Badgering, rudeness, insinuations, intimidation, profanity, threats, or violence.

Negative comments concerning opponents' or partner's play or bidding.

Constant and gratuitous lessons and analyses at the table.

Loud and disruptive arguing with a director's ruling.

JOIN US AT MOSELEY BRIDGE CLUB - Visitors Welcome

Welcome to Moseley Bridge Club.  We are a friendly club catering for players of all abilities.  Visitors are most welcome.  We generally have a host and welcome players without a partner.  No need to book.   Moseley bridge Club use Bridge mates computer scoring and you can take away a print of the hands at the end of each session.  In our comfortable premises we offer light refreshments.  Special events are held throughout the year.

Warwickshire League

We currently have 2 teams in the Warwickshire League.  Congratulations to Goldman who have just been promoted to division one, and Tweddle who are in division two.

If members wich to form a team of four the secretary will enter them in the Warwickshire League where they will play about nine matches from September till May either f2f or online.  Scoring is by imps, matches are usually of twenty four boards.
