The Ros Simpson Trophy pairs less experienced players in the club with some of the most experienced and capable players in the club.  A great opportunity for both players to learn :)  Ros Simpson was a regular player at the club from mid 1990s.  She was the club Vice President for a number of years and was renowned in the club for her great sense of humour,  her congenial and easy going nature and her constant willingness to play with anyone who needed a partner.  A good bridge player, Ros made it her mission to do everything in her power to help other players, especially beginners, to be able to play a game.  The Ros Simpson Memorial Trophy was inaugurated in 2006 to honour her spirit
