Bidding Forum Explained

Within the Members Section Emil provides MBC Members with the opportunity to participate in a Bidding Forum Quiz.
This quiz is featured in the Australian Bridge Magazine and members answers to the quiz are compared with a panel of experts and other readers of the magazine.
Readers reside in well known bridge playing countries like USA and Sweden as well as countries like Laos where bridge is almost unknown.

As well as participating by emailing your answers to Emil, you can now enter directly online from the website, your choice.

Emil advises that one of the important things for participants to note, is that when they get the results,
to see if at least one of the experts made the same decision as they did.

For example, the result of Q1 for December, 2019 looks like this:

Bid = self explatory - Score = self explanatory
Expert = the expert player on the panel that submits bids
Readers = Readers of the magazine who submit entries direct
MBC Members = Bid selections of MBC members.

In this example, 92% of members who made a bid selected by the experts should feel good irrespective of the score.
The 8% of members who selected bids not selected by the experts, should read the reasons why the experts chose the bid they did.
