| Australia Wide Novice Pairs |
Date: Wednesday 29 May 2024 Please note this is not a Social Bridge session.
Time: 12.45 pm for a 1.00 pm start
Cost: 2 tokens
All players who register by the due date are guaranteed a booklet from the ABF that details all the hands and bidding details.
The cost also includes green points at MBC, with results being sent to the Australian Bridge Federation to be compared to other novices in Australia. Those who compare at a high level will receive red points and be eligible for a range of prizes - see the poster at the Clubhouse for more details.
We have previously had members of MBC do very well in this competition and receive prizes and red masterpoints.
Target group:
All Players must have LESS than 100 Masterpoints as at 31-3-2024.
Players must be financial members of MBC who have played at least 6 times in the previous 6 months. Please refer to Information and Rules for Members and Guests.
Important Information:
MBC must send the entry form to the Australian Bridge Federation by Wednesday 1 May 2024, indicating the number of tables entering, so booklets can be printed in time for the event.
Please enter as soon as possible on the MBC website calendar so we know how many tables to enter. Those entering prior to 4 pm Monday 29 April, will be guaranteed a booklet Those who enter after this date, may not be able to be presented with a booklet if there are not enough available.

 Maitland Bridge Club was formed in 1975 and has been steadily growing to its present membership of over 155.
Maitland is in the heart of the Hunter Valley and attracts players from Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Cessnock, Singleton and outlying areas.
