MBC Members and their partners are invited to attend the annual Christmas Function for 2025.

Date: Thursday 4 December 2025

Time: 6.00 pm

Venue: East Maitland Bowling Club, Scarborough Function Centre (upstairs). There is lift access at the entrance to the Bowling Club.

Cost: $40 per person. Members and partners welcome.

RSVP and payment date:  4.00 pm Tuesday 18 November 2025. (This is to allow time for final numbers and specific dietary restrictions to be booked, and payment to be made to the venue).

Preferred payment method: By direct deposit. Please use reference Surname initial XMAS  e.g. SmithPXmas

If you do not use internet banking, please pay the correct amount at the clubhouse and ensure a receipt is written and handed to you.

If you, or your partner have specific dietary restrictions, including vegetarian, please indicate when you book on the online whiteboard.

Menu:

Main: Alternate Drop

• Roast lamb
• Grilled salmon topped with a dill butter

Both served with hasselback potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables

Dessert:  Alternate Drop

• Christmas pudding with brandy custard 
• Lemon meringue pie

Drinks can be purchased from the bar which is located in the function room.

There is also access to an outside balcony for those who like to get some fresh air.

Annual awards will be presented between main and dessert.

Maitland Bridge Club was formed in 1975 and has been steadily growing to its present membership of 172.

We play 6 Sessions a Week (Mon-Sat) including Tuesday evening and Saturday afternoon.

Maitland is in the heart of the Hunter Valley and attracts players from Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Cessnock, Singleton and outlying areas.

Visitors are most welcome but must be booked to play at a Session.
