Defibrillator Awareness Video

For those who were not able to attend the Defibrillator Awareness session yesterday, we are providing a video that demonstrates how to use the Defibrillator that we have at MBC.

Disruptions to Commencement of Sessions
Dear Members
Three of the last four Sessions have commenced late and, therefore, finished late.  The Directors arrive at the Club with a seating plan based on known individual physical restrictions and expressed seating preferences. They prepare the Compscore Software for the pending event accordingly.

When folk fail to arrive by start time, the Directors then attempt to ring both missing partners to determine their intentions.  When the absent pair finally announce that they forgot to remove their names, the Director must reprogram Compscore, often having to change Movements from perhaps a Mitchell to a Howell. The session then finishes 30 minutes late, and the punctual attendees are inconvenienced. Furthermore, with winter closing, those who do not wish to drive home in the dark will be disadvantaged.

Please be diligent and remove your names once it's obvious you can't attend.  If removing your names from the Website is a technical challenge then ring a Director or me.

Yours in Bridge
Peter (President)
