Due to the coronavirus the managers of Broxbourne JMI School have cancelled our use of the school hall until further notice.
Therefore there will be no bridge at Lowewood this evening or for the forseeable future.
We will attempt to advise all members by email, but if you know of any members who are not on email, please let them know.
Pleae note that the Club AGM will now be held at 7.30 on Tuesday 14th April
There was discussion at the AGM about ways to try to ensure a prompter start and therefore finish to the evening.
Could at least one member of each partnership try to arrive by 7.20 so that the bridgemates can be set up and boards can be shuffled in time for a 7.30 start.
If both members of a partnership are delayed and will be arriving after 7.20, please call 07745 302785. The director for the evening will have this phone and will then be able to include you in the movement.

Our current supply of plastic coffee/tea cups is running low. In sympathy with the global campaign to eliminate plastic waste, the Lowewood committee has decided not to purchase any more cups, when the current supply runs out. Members should plan to bring their own cup/mug in future, if they wish to have a drink.
Here you will find all information relating to Lowewood Bridge Club. The club is affiliated to Hertfordshire Bridge Association and the English Bridge Union and is located in Broxbourne at the Eastern end of the county close to the border with Essex.
The club meets weekly on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm at Broxbourne CE Primary School in Mill Lane. Exact details regarding location etc are listed under 'Information'/'Where & When'. Normal attendance is between 8 and 12 tables. There are ample parking facilities at the school and guests are welcome,as are players of all abilities.
On most evenings a host system operates allowing players who do not have a partner that week to be accommodated. However, please note that there a few special competitions where no host is present and these are shown on the Calendar.
