All members enjoy meeting visitors and will introduce their basic system (4 or 5 card majors; weak or strong NT). Thereafter everyone should announce/alert according to the latest EBU guide:  Announcement and Alert 2024 .

♥ TIMINGS AND DATES ♥ 

Mondays - doors open 6.15pm to be in seats by 6.25pm.
Thursdays - arrive 2.15pm to start 2.25pm.

Bank holidays:  we will play Easter Monday and both May bank holidays
(presuming opener/closer and director/scorer - they are 'on' unless you are informed by email otherwise!)

If you haven't yet taken a turn to open/close, why not sign up for 2-3 weeks during the spring and summer season...?  Many thanks!

ROTA SIGN UP GUIDE!

♥  Sharing the jobs! ♥ 

A quick guide to signing up for the various jobs that make Langham Bridge Club run smoothly!
1) Click on 'Rota sign-up' on the green menu bar (see left).
2) Under the heading 'calendar' you will see the top banner with the current Month and year in the middle.  There are blue arrows on the left (the horizontal left arrow takes you back a month) and on the right (the horizontal right arrow moves you on to the next month).  So choose which month you want to volunteer for first.
3) Then hover your mouse over the week you want to sign up for.  A drop down menu appears.
4) Click on 'Open/Close Wanted'.  A drop down menu appears.
5) Enter your name (eg: John Smith), and click 'Check'
6) Another menu appears showing what you have entered, click 'Accept'.
7) then repeat for the next week you want to enter!

Don't worry if you make a mistake or want to change your week - just contact Emma or Simon to make amendments!
The menu only accepts one name though we know you are working as a pair to open and close.
