FREE Livestream Bridge Lesson

with Jack Stocken on

Monday 9 September at 9.30am UK time

in aid of Cancer Research UK

Dear Secretary,

I am delighted to team up with the English Bridge Union and the Scottish Bridge Union to raise money for Cancer Research UK as part of the EBU's Festival of Bridge week.

I am offering your county members a FREE livestreamed interactive online Bridge lesson on Monday 9 September at 9.30am UK time. The lesson topic is Forcing or Non-Forcing Bids. I will discuss many different bidding sequences and the students will be asked which bids are game forcing and which are non-forcing, so plenty of scope for interaction. We will also look at bids that are forcing for just one round.

The lesson is free to attend and the suggested donation is £5 or £10, all of which will go direct to Cancer Research UK. We will provide links on the day.

The free lesson will last for about an hour and is suitable for all bridge players. The lesson will be presented with Powerpoint slides and I will go through several interesting hands on BBO.

Register on the learnbridgeonline.com website for free on this link https://learnbridgeonline.com/jack/ just with name and email.

If you can't make the time, then the lesson will be available to watch in replay at any time. The lesson is immersive and totally interactive: students can ask questions in real time via the chat box. No need to download Zoom or anything complicated, students will be sent an email to invite them to the lesson.

"I heartily recommend Jack Stocken.....clear and correct and very watchable (learnt a few things myself .. !)"

Zia Mahmood - World Champion & Bridge Legend

"Jack Stocken is a bridge teacher, par excellence, as many will testify"

Andrew Robson - UK's No 1 player

I am very excited about raising money for charity through teaching another livestream bridge lesson and do hope that your members can join me on

9 September.

Best wishes

Jack Stocken
