There were 18 Tables at the LCBA Swiss Pairs and 14 Tables at the LCBA Swiss Teams at the 2013 LCBA Congress on 26-27 Oct 2013. The Pairs was won by Peter Radley/Angela Booth on a split tie with Sheila Shea/Wynn Williams with Stuart Clarke/Sue Woodcock finishing third. The Teams was won by Austin Barnes/Rod Greenhalgh, Stuart Norris/Des King, with Stuart Clarke/Sue Woodcock, Bill Wattleworth/Anthony Butler second. See full details on the Results page.

The LCBA Congress was run very succesfully by John Pyner on the Oct 25/26 2014 weekend.

There were 16 Tables on both days. The winners were:

The LCBA Congress had 15 Tables on Bolton for the Swiss Pairs and similar for the Blackburn Swiss Teams on 24-25 Oct 2015. Once again it was most ably run by John Pyner.

Winners of the GP Swiss Pairs were Austin Barnes and Des King. Winners of the GP Swiss Teams were Paul Hackett, Jason Hackett, Brian Senior and Adrian Kenworthy.  See the Results section for the full results.

The LCBA Congress was once again expertly run by John Pyner with the Swiss Pairs at Brierfield on Saturday and Swiss Teams at Blackburn on Sunday 29-30 Oct 2016. There were 17 tables at the Swiss Pairs which was won by Jeff Smith/Andrew Petrie, second Oliver Cowan/Alan Hayward, third Bernard & Rhona Goldenfield. There were 13 teams at the Swiss Teams with the winners Jeff Smith/Jackie Pye, Alan & Kath Nelson, second Marianne Farr/John Morrell Paul & Hilda Williams. The full rankings are on the Results page.

The Lancashire Congress took place over the last weekend with 31 pairs at Briefield and 16 teams at Bolton BC on 27-28 Oct 2017. It was well run by John Pyner. In the Swiss Pairs, the winners were John Holland & Rodney Lighton, second Julian Merrill & Paul Roberts, third Gary Hyett & Alan Cooke. In the Swiss Teams, winners were Jackie Pye & Jeff Smith,  Bernard & Rhona Goldenfield, second Gary Hyett & Alan Cooke, Ray Semp & Henry Bissell, and third John Holland & Alan Mould, Ollie Burgess & Michael Byrne.Full results in the LCBA Results section

The LCBA Congress was held on Sat/Sun 27/28 October 2018 with the Pairs run by Rob Turner on the Saturday at Brierfield, Teams run by Neil Morley on the Sunday at Bolton.

There were excellent attandances at both events largely due to the sterling efforts of our new Tournament Secretary, Mike Tomlinson. The pairs was won by Gary Hyett & Alan Cooke, with Jeff Smith & Andrew Petrie second, Roger Allison &Ppeter Richmond third. The teams was won convincingly by Mike Nicholson & Des King, Stuart Norris & Rod Greenhalgh, with Dave Edwards & Gillian Jones, Gareth Thomas & David Burrows in second place. There were 18 tables at the pairs, 14 Tables at the teams.

The Lancashire Congress was held at Preston BC with 30 pairs on Saturday 26 Oct 2019 and 14 teams on Sunday 27 Oct 2019. The pairs was won by Rodney Lighton & John Currie, second Mike Tomlinson & Linda Smith. The Lancashire Online Congress had an excellent attendance of 78 pairs on Saturday and 24 teams on Sunday on 31 Oct - 1 Nov 2020. Winners of the Pairs were Andrew Lum & John Brearley, second Mike Tomlinson & Linda Smith, third Tapan & Tony Pal. Winners of the teams were Mike Tomlinson & Linda Smith, Jeff & Ann Wilkins, with a three way tie for second place - Stuart Clarke & Sue Woodcock, Sue Fjortoft & Nick Woodcock / Kath Nelson & Rhona Goldenfield, Alan Nelson & Greer Mackenzie / Catherine Draper & Michael Fay, Andrew & Veronica Petrie. Unfortunately, the Blue-Pointed Swiss Teams scheduled for Sunday 31st October 2021 has now been cancelled due to lack of entries.

Winners of the Pairs were Alec Smalley/ Barbara Lewis, with S Berson/F Conquest & S Davies/A Jarvis 2nd=, J Smith/J Pye 3rd. The Consolation Final was won by D Barton/R Goldenfield.
This was also the qualifier for the EBU Corwen. The leading Lancs pairs who qualify were J Smith/J Pye, S Bentley/M Blake and B Loveridge/N Sutcliffe.

The teams was won by Paul & Catherine Fegarty, Jamie & Liam. Second was M Taylor/Justin Hackett, O.Cowan & D Lilleycroft, 3rd R Goldenfield & D Barton, J Smith & J Pye.
