The 2026 Madeleine Berney Swiss Pairs is once again being held at Brierfield Bridge Club on Sunday 3rd May at 11am.

There will be 6 matches of 6 boards and the event is fully blue pointed meaning players will get masterpoints for each match they win as well as based on overall finishing positions. The nature of Swiss Pairs makes this event suitable for all players with experience of playing club bridge. There will be prizes for the winners & runners up, as well as the best and 2nd beat pair where both players are no higher than 10 NGS.

The entry fee is just £12.50 per player and includes tea/coffee/biscuits and players should bring their own lunch. There will be a 30 minute break between rounds 3 and 4 and the day should finish by 4pm.
