The 2026 Kiplings Trophy Competition will be held on Wednesday 22 April at 6.15. It is a handicap competition giving all pairs a chance to win. All members are invited to come and enjoy our first cup event of the year. It is expected to finish by about 9.30

The Giles Henry Trophy was held on 15 th.October. It was an excellent event played as a Mitchell movement with 7 full tables. Worthy winners were Ivan Segal and Derrick Sterling (N/S), and Parviiz Behdad and Colin Campbell (E/W). The presentation was made by Mary Samuel in memory of Maggie Howard and all ex members wh are no longer with us.

The AGM will be held on Wednesday 17 September at 6.00 p.m.. any items for inclusion should be submitted prior to the start of club night 3 September.

Our first Giles Henry Trophy Evening on 29th May was a memorable occasion. A big thank you to Rosemary Henry, who travelled from Hythe especially to enjoy the evening with us and to present the trophy, which she has very kindly donated. The attractive glass trophy honours and remembers the dear members we have lost in recent years, including, of course, our lovely Giles. This was a handicapped pairs event and was won by Steve and Gerry, with 65.42%.Well done, you two!  Wine, cheese and nibbles  were served in the interval and everyone had a chance to catch up with Rosemary.
