| Kiplings Trophy 2026 Results |
 The first cup competition of the year, the Kiplings Trophy, was won by Colin and Chris, seen here being presented with the Cup by Chairman Jenny. Ruth and Pam T were a very close 2nd after an excellent evening with 81/2 tables.

| Festive activities |
The Christmas party was held on Wednesday 10th. Dec. And what a success it was! 61/2 tables enjoyed 21 hands of bridge and an wonderful spread laid on by Pam , Jenny,Janine, Dev, and many others. The bridge was won by Pam and Jim (N/S) and Parvis and Dev ( E/W) but the real winner was the Club which provided its members an excellent start to the festive season. Many thanks to all who contributed.
Our next special event is the annual Bridge and dinner at Franks on 7th January. Bridge starts at 4.00 at Whiteways followed by the short transfer to Franks for dinner at 7.00

| Giles Henry Trophy 2025 |
The Giles Henry Trophy was held on 15th October being run as a normal Mitchell movement duplicate competition. It was an excellent evening involving nibbles, drink and keen competition on 7 full tables. The winners were Ivan Segal and Derrick Sterling (N/S) and Parvis Behdad and Colin Campbell (E/W). The Trophy was presented by Mary Samual in memory of her ex partner, Maggie Howard, and all other members who are no longer with us. The above photo shows the presentation and includes our Chairman Jenny Marshall who did so much, along with others, to ensure a successful and memorable evening.
