The Woodspring Swiss Pairs event has been organised by the Kingston Seymour and Clevedon & Portishead bridge clubs
with entry open to members of those two clubs and any other clubs in the Somerset Contract Bridge Association (SCBA) area.
It will be held on Sunday, 13th April 2025 at the Kingston Seymour Village Hall, BS21 6XE commencing at 1:00pm sharp.
We expect to play 5 rounds of 8 boards each (with a break for tea after 3 rounds and finishing no later than 7:00pm) but
the number of rounds and the boards played in each of them might need to be varied dependent on the number of pairs.
Cost of entry is £6 per player with an additional fee of £10 each (that's the cost to us) for the tea if you wish to have one.
Andy Ridgers (Chairman of Selectors for the SCBA) has kindly agreed to be our TD and scorer.
Any profit from the event will be donated to Weston Hospicecare.
Entries for the event will close on Thursday 10th April.
Requests for tea will close on Saturday 5th April in order for us to give notice to our caterer of the numbers.
Entries from anywhere are welcome but we hope that Somerset players will find this event attractive.
