The Chairman opened the meeting by welcoming us all to the AGM.  The Chairman announced that he was delighted that Monika Aitkin had accepted the honour of the post of Honorary President.  Monika stated that she was delighted to accept the award especially as she would be the first woman to be awarded this post.

Minutes approved.  Proposed by Jill Skinner and seconded by David Stern.

The Treasurer’s Report is attached as an appendix was presented by Georgina Howe and was accepted by the meeting and proposed by Martin Davies and seconded by Pat McBain.

  1. ANY RESOLUTIONS SUBMITTED BY MEMBERS

None submitted.

  1. APPOINTMENT OF OUR INDEPENDENT FINANCIAL EXAMINER FOR THE COMING YEAR.

Martin Davies was appointed for another year as the County’s Financial Examiner. 

  1.  ELECTION OF RETIRING OFFICERS AND COMMITTEE MEMBERS OFFERING THEMSELVES FOR RE-ELECTION.

The retiring members of the Committee Sharon Bayne, Paul Gibbons and Charles Scott offered themselves for re-election and were elected unopposed.

There being no other business the Meeting was closed, and the Chairman presented trophies to those who had won them in the previous competition year.

Meeting closed at 2.42pm.
