| NIBU COMPETITIONS |
|
The East Down Pairs, a red pointed event, will take place at Kelvin Malone Bridge Centre on Sunday 22 September 2024 at 11 am. All level of players welcome. A separate section of Inter A and B players will be available subject to a minimum of 12 Inter A/B pairs entering.
As the first event of the NIBU competition calendar year, let us make this a big success by encouraging all our fellow players to take part.

Bridge classes will commence week beginning 23 September 2024
Monday Morning 10.00 am- 12.00 noon
New Beginners Class.
Monday Morning 10.00 am-12.00 noon
Beginners Plus- have already attended up to one year of bridge classes.
Wednesday Morning 10.00 am- 12.00 noon
Novices -interested in progressing to playing club level bridge.
Thursday Morning 10.00 am- 12.00 noon
Improvers-interested in improving their standard of play, bidding and defence at club/competitive level.
The classes will be run by Hilary and John Ferguson, both experienced bridge players and bridge teachers for 7+ years

| Club Rule - Seating Positions at the Table |
Members and Visitors are reminded of the following rule:
At ALL Club sessions, prior to the playing of the first board, the tossing of a coin or drawing of lots will determine the NS & EW seating positions if one pair requests it. Tournament Directors, players who for health reasons prefer to sit or move and those who can’t use the electronic scorers are exempt from this rule and get their choice.
