| WATERFORD CONGRESS 2025 |
 Our Annual Congress at the Tower Hotel in Waterford is coming this Weekend folks. Kicking off tomorrow Friday 03rd January with Novice Pairs, Mixed Pairs and Gala Open Pairs and all the usual events over the weekend. We had a great turn out earlier this year for our first live congress since 2020 (due to the cursed covid). So get your entries in as early as possible and let's make our 2025 Congress even bigger and better.

| Holmes Wilson National Teams - 03rd Session Winners |
 Heartiest Congratulations to the Waterford Team of Mary Treacy, Marian Davenport, Maria Donegan and Margaret Cunningham who won the 3rd Session Prize at the Holmes Wilson National Teams Championships held last weekend in Tullow Co. Carlow. There were a whopping total of 109 Teams competing in the event including most of the best players in the country. Well played ladies.

A Big Thank You to everyone who supported our first LIVE Bridge Congress since 2020 which was held at the Tower Hotel over the first weekend in January.
The festival was well supported with numbers attending comparing very well with other congresses around the country even if lower than the good old pre-covid days.
Local Players performed very well and were outright winners in several of the main events.

They won in style, leading almost from start to finish and undefeated on the day winning six out of seven mtaches with one draw. A fine performance indeed.
