Welcome to the Jefferson Bridge Association, Charlottesville, Virginia

Enjoy real southern hospitality at Jefferson Bridge Association's (JBA) games where you'll find challenging bridge, gracious players and delicious refreshments.

JBA was organized in 2006 to add to the enjoyment of duplicate bridge in Charlottesville and the surrounding areas of Virginia. The member-owned, non profit club is sanctioned by the American Contract Bridge League. JBA runs two games each week and sponsors an annual tournament. The club offers many special events to award additional masterpoints to the winners and benefit local charities. 

On the first Friday of each month, club masters offer a forum to discuss and teach bidding systems and playing techniques.

ACBL certified instructors offer private or group bridge classes beginning, intermediate and advanced players.

JBA was the ♠first bridge club♠ in the US to use the highly successful Bridgemate Wireless Scoring System for instantaneous feedback and scoring.  All games feature pre-dealt hands and hand records.  Results of each game are posted on this website.
