Via  I-64 - 5 min. east of Charlottesville; 55 min. west of Richmond

Directions:  From the east, take the Keswick exit (129) from I-64. Turn left. Go ½ mile to the first traffic light. Turn right onto route 250 headed west. Go 2 ½ miles to the next traffic light. Turn left onto Glenmore Way. 

From the west: Take the Shadwell exit (124) from I-64. Turn right onto route 250 headed east. Go 3 miles to the third traffic light. Turn right onto Glenmore Way.

Once on Glenmore Way, take the first possible left (Steamer Drive). Cross the outbound lane into Rivanna Village. Follow Steamer Drive to the right. Go past the firehouse and park in the event parking area. Please leave nearby parking spaces for those who are less mobile.​

Enjoy this OPEN game on Sunday, June 14.   Paul Hartman was a long-time bridge director and player who began running the Pro-Am game many years ago.  But now, most of our Amateurs have advanced to the level that they can compete against anyone, so until I hear an outcry from our newer player (0-300 mps), I have suspended the PRO-AM aspect and making this an OPEN game.  Find a partner and sign up to play with us!

Welcome to the Jefferson Bridge Association, Charlottesville, Virginia

Enjoy real southern hospitality at Jefferson Bridge Association's (JBA) games where you'll find challenging bridge, gracious players and delicious refreshments.

JBA was organized in 2006 to add to the enjoyment of duplicate bridge in Charlottesville and the surrounding areas of Virginia. The member-owned, non profit club is sanctioned by the American Contract Bridge League. JBA runs two games each week and sponsors an annual tournament. The club offers many special events to award additional masterpoints to the winners and benefit local charities. 

On the first Friday of each month, club masters offer a forum to discuss and teach bidding systems and playing techniques.

ACBL certified instructors offer private or group bridge classes beginning, intermediate and advanced players.

JBA was the ♠first bridge club♠ in the US to use the highly successful Bridgemate Wireless Scoring System for instantaneous feedback and scoring.  All games feature pre-dealt hands and hand records.  Results of each game are posted on this website.
