Via I-64 - 5 min. east of Charlottesville; 55 min. west of Richmond

Directions:  From the east, take the Keswick exit (129) from I-64. Turn left. Go ½ mile to the first traffic light. Turn right onto route 250 headed west. Go 2 ½ miles to the next traffic light. Turn left onto Glenmore Way. 

From the west: Take the Shadwell exit (124) from I-64. Turn right onto route 250 headed east. Go 3 miles to the third traffic light. Turn right onto Glenmore Way.

Once on Glenmore Way, take the first possible left (Steamer Drive). Cross the outbound lane into Rivanna Village. Follow Steamer Drive to the right. Go past the firehouse and park in the event parking area. Please leave nearby parkingspaces for those who are less mobile.

AMs should have less than 500 MPs and PROs over 500MPs on REALBRIDGE.  Pro players should select a NORTH or EAST seat.  Am players should select a SOUTH or WEST seat.

If you haven't tried REAL BRIDGE, go to https://realbridge.online/  , fill in the ACBL Login, then look at upcoming games.  Then find a TRY IT OUT free game.   There will be a practice game on Saturday, January 17 at 10am. Other Try It Out games are shown on the website.    Sign on 15 minutes early.  If you need help, you can get a director.   They are very helpful.

Welcome to the Jefferson Bridge Association, Charlottesville, Virginia

Enjoy real southern hospitality at Jefferson Bridge Association's (JBA) games where you'll find challenging bridge, gracious players and delicious refreshments.

JBA was organized in 2006 to add to the enjoyment of duplicate bridge in Charlottesville and the surrounding areas of Virginia. The member-owned, non profit club is sanctioned by the American Contract Bridge League. JBA runs two games each week and sponsors an annual tournament. The club offers many special events to award additional masterpoints to the winners and benefit local charities. 

On the first Friday of each month, club masters offer a forum to discuss and teach bidding systems and playing techniques.

ACBL certified instructors offer private or group bridge classes beginning, intermediate and advanced players.

JBA was the ♠first bridge club♠ in the US to use the highly successful Bridgemate Wireless Scoring System for instantaneous feedback and scoring.  All games feature pre-dealt hands and hand records.  Results of each game are posted on this website.
