It is with great sadness that we learnt of the death of Trevor Hampshaw on Tuesday 23rd June, as the result of a heart attack. Trevor and Brenda were co-founders of Ilminster Bridge Club in 2003 and also members of Crewkerne Bridge club from 1999.

Trevor only stopped playing at club level a few months ago but continued to play socially. He will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and fellow players.

A Celebration of Trevor's life will be held at Seavington Village Hall on Thursday 23rd July from 12 noon. Anyone wishing to attend will be very welcome and please inform Mike if you intend to be there so that numbers can be estimated for catering purposes.

Welcome to Ilminster Bridge Club. Our club night is Tuesday and we meet in Speke Hall, Dowlish Wake.

We are proud of our reputation as a very friendly club and have members of all standards from improvers upwards.

We usually play a 24-board duplicate pairs session, with between seven and nine tables.

We like to start at 7pm prompt so arrival before 6.50pm would be appreciated so that the director can sort tables and the movement. 

We are affiliated to the  EBU and  now offer master points.

We use an electronic scoring system so that results are available on the night.

We also operate a host system for those without a partner.
