Annual General Meeting

This will be held at 6:45pm on Monday 22 April.  Items for discussion to be sent to the Secretary by 15th April.

British Winter Sim Pairs 2024 

Congratulations to David & Malcolm who finished first of 350 pairs.  This is the first time a Huntingdon pair has ever topped a national sims competition.

PARTNER FINDING

If you are available to play but don't have a partner please let Lesley know.  Other people may be looking for a partner and we don't like to disappoint them!

The winners of the 2022-23 Competitions are now in the Hall of Fame

Competitions are now 'real' and winners will be engraved on the trophy.

Cambs and Hunts Competitions
Cambs & Hunts County Competitions

The Cambs & Hunts Contract Bridge Association to which Huntingdon belongs runs or takes part in a number of competitions.  Here you will find links to the details and results.

Cambs & Hunts Bridge League

This is a league for teams of 4 representing their clubs.  There are currently 2 divisions with promotion and relegation between them.   Huntingdon has 2 teams both in Division 1 for the 2020-21 season.  Past results and current standings are on the EBU website.

County Teams knock-out competition

For teams of 4 entered privately with matches played by arrangement between the 2 teams.   First round losers go into the Plate competition.  The Results of past years can be found on the Cambs & Hunts website.  The results so far for the current season are on the EBU website - click on Knockouts on the home page and scroll down to find the Cambs & Hunts listings.

County Pairs

For pairs who have qualified at a heat held at a member club.  The full results of previous years are on the county website.

Individual Championship

For players who qualified at a heat held by a member club.  The results of previous years finals are on the county website.

Swiss Pairs

Open to all pairs.  

Relaxed Teams

For new players or those with NGS grade of 9 or below.  

Eastern Counties League

This consists of 3 divisions of 8 (Div1) or 7 teams between county bridge associations in the East of England.  Cambs & Hunts has 3 teams- one in each division.  The 2020-21 season has been suspended.  Historical results can be found on the EBU website - click on Leagues on the home page and scroll down.

Garden Cities Trophy

The national competition for teams of 8 between County organisations.  Clubs can enter as many teams as they like into the County heat.
