| PAT REDFERN |
We have heard the very sad news that Pat Redfern has died.
Pat had been a member of Horsham BC since 1997 and was a regular player in our duplicate pairs sessions and was a trophy winner in 2023. When the Club started up again after COVID Denise Delgado and Pat were delighted to be back at the Club and were loyal supporters. Pat has also been one of the Club's regular board dealers on Saturday mornings.
Always very polite and considerate of others she always looked elegant. She was taken into hospital recently and passed away on the same day.
We will advice details of Pat’s funeral arrangements when they are known.

| A WIN AT SEDGWICK PARK |
 |
The recent bridge drive in aid of Blood Cancer UK was a brilliant afternoon, in lovely weather in a beautiful location.
The winner was Yvonne Cooper
with Jean Grant in 2nd place.
How wonderful to see Yvonne win and Jean come second.

| KEITH’S BIRTHDAY |
Keith Norman, the backbone of our club for so many years arrived looking very cool for his surprise birthday ‘do’ and was suitably surprised.
It was lovely that so many were able to play including some ‘old’ faces who we’ve not seen for a while and that so many came along just to sing happy birthday.
Thank you Keith for all you do and a very happy 90th!

As well as bridge those playing at our surprise birthday event enjoyed a delicious spread including so much made so generously by some of our members plus a beautiful cake made by Gini Phillips who also presented Keith and Maureen with a fruit cake, Keith’s favourite.
